Moritz studied law at Bucerius Law School, Hamburg, at the University of Pennsylvania and at Christ Church, Oxford. He completed his practical legal training at the Hamburg Higher Regional Court, including stints at the Hamburg and Hong Kong offices of a major international law firm. Before joining SMP, Moritz was an associate at Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer.
