Florian advises management teams and investors on the structuring of funds in venture capital and private equity as well as other asset classes. His work is focused on corporate and contractual matters, in particular the preparation and negotiation of fund documentation. He also advises on ongoing matters such as carried interest structures, co-investments, secondary transactions and restructurings.

Another focus of Florian's practice is on venture capital transactions and general corporate law.

Education and Career

Florian studied law in Maastricht (Netherlands) and Cologne as well as Public Policy and Administration at the London School of Economics. While working on his doctoral dissertation, he was a research assistant with Prof. Dr. Hennrichs (Cologne University) and a visiting researcher at the University of California, Berkeley. 

His German practical legal training included stints at major international law firms in Düsseldorf and Berlin.
