Berlin – Schnittker Möllmann Partners (SMP) has appointed Fabian Euhus as equity partner of the law firm as of January 1, 2019. Martin Schaper and Lennart Lorenz expand the circle of partners as Associated Partners of SMP. "We are extremely pleased to have gained three individuals from our own team as partners, who are recognized experts in their fields. With the newly appointed partners, we are expanding our expertise in the area of fund structuring as well as core corporate law and M&A," says SMP Managing Partner Peter Möllmann.
Dr. Fabian Euhus, EMBA advises managers and advisors of venture-capital funds, buyout funds und funds-of-funds. Fabian studied law and taxation in Frankfurt/Oder, Münster/Westfalen and Barcelona. Before joining SMP as an Associated Partner, he was part of the private-funds team of P+P Pöllath + Partners, most recently as Counsel.
Dr. Martin Schaper, LL.M. (Cambridge) advises financial investors and corporate clients on M&A transactions, joint ventures and other matters of corporate law. Another focus of his work lies on incorporating European Stock Corporations (SE or Societas Europaea) as well as on complex corporate reorganizations. Before joining the SMP team in Berlin in March 2018, Martin Schaper worked as Principal Associate for the law firm Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer.
Lennart Lorenz, LL.M. (Stockholm) advises fund initiators, fund management teams and fund investors in the field of alternative investment (private equity, venture capital, debt, real estate) on all matters of regulatory law as well as on the structuring of funds and other investment vehicles. In addition, he accompanies and advises financial market players in (banking) regulatory licensing procedures as well as initiators on regulatory issues in connection with crypto tokens and blockchain-based business models.
