Berlin - Schnittker Möllmann Partners (SMP) advised the Berlin tech company Zenjob on its latest financing round. The Series C financing round with a total volume of EUR 27 million was led by new investor Forestay Capital. The fund is part of the Waypoint Group of billionaire Ernesto Bertarelli from Switzerland. Participants also included the current investors from the previous round, inter alia Redalpine, Axa Venture Partners, Atlantic Labs and Acton Capital.
According to the company founded in 2015, the capital will be used to roll out its app nationwide. Zenjob was again advised by a team led by SMP partner Benjamin Ullrich, who had already acted for the company on previous financing rounds. "We are pleased to have again comprehensively advised Zenjob on this round, which is an excellent signal for the Berlin market in turbulent times," said Benjamin Ullrich.
Zenjob is a Berlin tech company with a license for temporary employment. The digital personnel service provider supplies companies from various industries (e.g. logistics, hotel, event, retail) with student per-sonnel in Berlin, Hamburg, Munich, Cologne, Bonn, Düsseldorf. Students receive short-term job offers in real time directly on their smartphone and confirm jobs with just one click in the app. Zenjob was founded by Fritz Trott, Cihan Aksakal and Frederik Fahning. Arvid Seeberg-Elverfeldt joined the management team in 2017 and now employs more than 260 people.
