Berlin – Schnittker Möllmann Partners (SMP) advised the Berlin-based AI company Rasa on its latest financing round. The round with a total volume of 11.5 million Euros was led by Silicon Valley-VC Accel Partners. In addition to Accel, existing investor Basis Set Ventures and various business angels such as Celonisfounder Alexander Rinke, Open-AI-CTO Greg Brockmann and Mesosphere-founder Florian Leibert also participated in this financing round. According to the company's own information, Rasa intends to use the new capital to relocate its headquarters from Berlin to San Francisco. The Berlin location will be used as research and development center in the future. A team led by SMP-Partner Stephan Bank provided comprehensive advice to Rasa on all German law matters pertaining to the financing round.
