Berlin – Schnittker Möllmann Partners (SMP) advised Berlin-based investment firm KKA Partners on the launch of a seed fund. The financial backers include renowned institutional and private investors from Germany and abroad. The capital raised was invested, by way of a participation, in a leading global company in the field of infrastructure for live events headquartered in Germany. In this context, KKA received comprehensive advice on the tax-related transaction structure from SMP partner Malte Bergmann. The capital provided by the KKA seed fund is available to the company for growth and to meet growing customer demands. As part of the fund structuring, a team led by SMP partner Fabian Euhus provided comprehensive advice on all corporate-law, tax and regulatory matters.
