Berlin - SMP advised the Munich-based insurance start-up InsureQ on its seed financing round. Rocket Internet's new early stage fund Flash Ventures invested in the InsurTech. InsureQ digitalizes insurance sales. The company aims its services mainly at consultants, freelancers in the IT sector and startups with a focus on software-as-a-service and e-commerce. InsureQ received comprehensive legal advice from a team led by SMP partner Benjamin Ullrich.

Founded in 2020 by Alexander Le Prince, Johannes Breulmann, Iven Schorr and Laibing Yang, Insuretech currently employs ten people.
Flash Ventures is an early stage fund focusing on investments in companies in the FinTech, B2B Marketplace, Logistics, D2C Health, PropTech and InsurTech sectors.
