Berlin – Schnittker Möllmann Partners (SMP) advised the Berlin-based venture capitalist Cherry Ventures on the launch of its third venture capital fund with a total volume of 175 million Euro. Among the investors is a US feeder fund managed by a German management company. The early-stage investor plans to invest the capital in European seed stage startups. Cherry Ventures received comprehensive legal and tax advice on the structuring of the new fund as well as on all corporate, tax and regulatory issues. The advisory team was led by SMP partners Jens Kretzschmann, Stephan Bank and Helder Schnittker. The same team had previously advised Cherry Ventures on the launch of its second venture capital fund.
