Berlin – SMP has advised venture capital firm BlueYard on its latest investment in Berlin-based software company Wonder Technologies. In addition to BlueYard, EQT Ventures invested in the web application for video conferencing as part of this Series A financing round. BlueYard received comprehensive legal advice by an SMP team again. SMP already advised the investor on a number of financing rounds, including its investments in Pitch, deepstreamHub and Marvel Fusion. In addition, BlueYard is advised by SMP on all aspects of fund formation and fund structuring - including digital assets. Ansgar Frank and Stephan Bank took the joint lead on this mandate.
"With their online conference platform, the founders of Wonder Technologies have recognized the needs of their "pandemic-ridden" target group at the right time and created a digital venue for them that enables GDPR-compliant exchange with different discussion partners in the same event space" says SMP Associated Partner Ansgar Frank. "I am therefore particularly pleased that we were once again able to provide BlueYard with legal advice for this investment."
