SMP advises Amplifier on investment in Bliq

Berlin – SMP advised the venture capital firm Amplifier on its investment in the Berlin software company Bliq. As lead investor, Amplifier led the Seed II financing round together with US VC Space Capital. Early-stage investor Atlantic Labs, together with US investors Revel Partners and Proeza Ventures, and angel investor Andreas Kupke also invested in the company. SMP partners Tim Schlösser and Stephan Bank and team provided legal advice to Amplifier during the transaction.

Amplifier Ventures is a Berlin-based venture capital fund that invests at Seed and Series A in logistics and mobility tech. Amplifier was founded on the belief that the supply chain is an interconnected ecosystem with enormous potential for transformation. As a specialist fund, Amplifier leverages its deep domain expertise and its vast network of industry partners to support founders.

Bliq is a software company based in Berlin. Founded in 2018 by Johannes Riedel, Julian Glaab and Torgen Hauschild, Bliq has developed AI software that uses road traffic data to optimize the workflows of contract workers in the transportation industry. The company currently employs according to its own information 17 people.
