Berlin - Schnittker Möllmann Partners (SMP) advised the venture capital fund Project A on its new investment in the Fintech company Liqid. The Series C financing was led by new investor Toscafund Asset. The round had a total volume of 33 million euros. In addition to Project A, the existing investors HQ Trust and Dieter von Holtzbrinck Ventures also participated in the growth financing. Within the scope of the current financing round, Project A was again comprehensively advised by a team led by SMP partner Peter Möllmann and Benjamin Ullrich. According to Liqid, the capital will benefit expansion in the German market as well as international growth.
Liqid GmbH is a Fintech company headquartered in Berlin. The online platform specializes in digital asset management and was founded by Jonas Tebbe, Paul Becker, Arne Zeisig, Christian Schneider-Sickert and Kyros Khadjavi in 2015. According to Liqid, the company currently employs 40 people in Berlin, who are supported by 17 capital brand experts from HQ Trust in Bad Homburg in the management and further development of investment strategies.
