Berlin - Schnittker Möllmann Partners (SMP) has advised venture capital fund Project A on the sale of its portfolio company Evino. For Project A this is the first relevant exit in the Brazilian market. SMP advised on all matters of corporate and tax law with a team led by partner Benjamin Ullrich. The Berlin-based VC stated that it generated a double-digit million euro in proceeds through the sale of its stake in the São Paulo-based online wine trading company.
Evino is a company specialized in the import and distribution of European wines. Founded in 2013 by Ari Gorenstein and Marcos Leal, the e-commerce company employs 250 people and is headquartered in São Paulo, Brazil.
