Berlin - Schnittker Möllmann Partners (SMP) has advised Berlin-based fintech FinCompare on their Series A with a total volume of 22 million euros. In addition, SMP provides comprehensive advice to FinCompare on all ongoing legal matters. The current financing round is led by the existing investors Speedinvest, ING Ventures and UNIQA Ventures. Elevator Ventures from Raiffeisenbank International AG and private backers also joined the group of investors.
"After German startups have already successfully entered the B2C financial services market, business models for B2B customers are now gaining ground. With SMEs, FinCompare serves one of the most demanding and most relevant stakeholders within the domestic economy," said Peter Möllmann, partner at SMP.
FinCompare is a digital platform for corporate finance and is aimed at small and medium-sized companies with financing needs. Companies reach over 250 banks, leasing companies, factoring companies etc. on the platform. The platform offers all common financing solutions as well as access to funding programs. Companies receive targeted and independent advice and can compare offers and conclude financing across Germany. To date, FinCompare has processed financing requests from around 25,000 companies and employs over 75 people.
